Atom is the intelligence layer of the Crowther stack: the elemental, irreducible unit the rest of the organisation is composed from. An enterprise running on Atom has no layer beneath it that does the thinking. Atom is the floor.

Each model is lean, post-trained for its job, and empty of everything it does not need. That is what lets it run on your own infrastructure rather than in someone else’s cloud, and what lets a regulated institution answer, precisely, where its intelligence lives and who holds the keys.

The mark says the same thing in a picture: four fig leaves as orbits around a nucleus, so it reads as both a fig and an atom. The fig is a partnership. So is the model.

Atom models are pre-trained on original data and post-trained on open-source foundations, then hosted locally. Global frontier models were built for the average of the internet. Atom is built for the specific: your sector, your language, your regulator, your records.

Because the model and the data stay on ground you control, the model keeps improving on your work without your work ever leaving the building. Access is deny by default; you grant it, and you can revoke it in a moment.

Every deployment is held to one design constraint: JQ greater than 1.0. Atom must elevate more human work than it displaces, and we measure it.

Atom is the engine: where the work runs, generating, retrieving and reasoning.
